FIFA 13 (also known as FIFA Soccer 13 in North America) is the twentieth edition of Electronic Arts‘ highly-acclaimed association football FIFA video game series. It is developed by EA Canada. A demo of the game was released on 11 September 2012, The demo teams include: Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, Juventus, A.C. Milan and Arsenal. The demo was downloaded a record 1.99 million times within three days. The game was released on September 2012 in most regions, whilst it was released in Japan on October 2012. The Wii U version specifically is to be released alongside the console during its launch day in all regions.

FIFA 13 included new features to the FIFA franchise such as the First Touch Control. New celebrations were also added as a new feature.

Darksiders II is an action-adventure and action role-playing video game developed by Vigil Games and published by THQ. It is the sequel to Darksiders and was released in August 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, and will be released for Wii U during launch day in all regions.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is an upcoming first-person shooter video game, developed by Treyarch and published by Activision (Square Enix for Japan), to be released on November 13, 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows and on November 18, 2012 in USA and November 30, 2012 for Europe for Wii U.Black Ops II is the ninth game in the Call of Duty franchise of video games and a sequel to the 2010 game Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Black Ops II is the first game in the Call of Duty franchise to feature future warfare technology and the first to present branching storylines driven by player choice. It also offers a 3D display option. A corresponding game, Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified, will be released simultaneously on the PlayStation Vita.

Batman: Arkham City is a 2011 action-adventure video game developed by Rocksteady Studios and released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 video game consoles, and Microsoft Windows. Based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, it is the sequel to the 2009 video game Batman: Arkham Asylum. It was released worldwide for consoles, beginning in North America on October 18, 2011, with a Microsoft Windows version following on November 22, 2011.

Arkham City was written by veteran Batman writer Paul Dini with Paul Crocker and Sefton Hill, and is based on the franchise’s long-running comic book mythos. In the game’s main storyline, Batman is incarcerated in Arkham City, a massive new super-prison enclosing the decaying urban slums of fictional Gotham City. He must uncover the secret behind Arkham’s sinister “Protocol 10” while protecting inmates from the notorious criminals housed there. The game’s leading characters are predominantly voiced by actors from the DC Animated Universe, with Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reprising their roles as Batman and the Joker, respectively. The game is presented from the third-person perspective with a primary focus on Batman’s combat abilities, stealth and detective skills, and gadgets that can be used in both combat and exploration. Arkham City expands Batman’s arsenal of gadgets and combat attacks and offers a more open world structure, allowing the player to complete side missions away from the primary storyline.

The game received critical acclaim and was tied for the highest-rated video game of 2011 according to review aggregator Metacritic. It was the recipient of several awards including Game of the Year, Action game, Action Adventure game, Adventure game and best original music score. A Game of the Year edition was released on May 29, 2012 in North America, and was released on September 7, 2012 for the rest of the world. The game is being adapted for the Wii U and is scheduled for release on November 18, 2012, and an OS X version is scheduled for late 2012. A spin-off iOS game, Batman: Arkham City Lockdown, was released on December 7, 2011.

Assassin’s Creed III is a historical action-adventure open world stealth video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and Microsoft Windows. It is the fifth major installment and the third numbered title in the Assassin’s Creed series. The game was released worldwide for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, beginning in North America on October 30, 2012. A Wii U and Microsoft Windows version will be released in November 2012.

The main portion of Assassin’s Creed III is set before, during and after the American Revolution from 1753 to 1783, featuring a new protagonist: Connor Kenway, birth name Ratonhnhaké:ton (pronounced “Ra-doon-ha-gay-doon“), half English and half Native American. In addition to the historical period, the game also features the “present day” setting, where series protagonist Desmond Miles must adventure to prevent the 2012 apocalypse, as his story develops and reaches a conclusion. The game features a new engine, Anvil Next, built from the ground up, the engine is said to utilize full capability of current generation systems to deliver a “next-gen Assassin’s Creed experience.”
