MW: Please introduce yourself?
JRD: Hello my name is James R. Dempster thanks for having me.
MW: How did you get your start in acting?
JRD: I actually got started doing some extra work working back to back on two zombie films that where shooting in the summer of 2012 in Florida and I got the bug man.
MW: How did you get cast for The Originals on CW?
JRD: A casting agency out of Atlanta was casting some types for the series in a cool scene in episode 7 so I submitted and the phone rang literally a minute after the email went out haha I drove down there and stayed a few days doing some other work in the area and networked and met everybody on set and developed a cool relationship with some cool people there and ended up coming back for episode 12 where I met “Walking Dead’s” Michael Koske and we did a pretty featured scene that was cool actually literally it was freezing LOL but all worth it for sure.
MW: Will you be on anymore?
JRD: I always have the option to come back in some capacity or another my Daywalker character was killed but not the Nightwalker one.
MW: How has the fan response been to you being on The Originals?
JRD: The response has been great a lot of people watch that show so I’ve had a few people come up to me and say you know “Hey man I saw you on The Originals” and stuff like that so It was a quick couple scenes but I don’t look much different in person than I did in the show so I guess I’m more recognizable.
MW: What other TV Shows or movies do you have in the works?
JRD: Right now things are really snowballing I’m working on several projects right now features include “The Last One” “Masterpiece” just wrapped two great shorts that are in the process of hitting the festivals now “Devotion” and “Case #0912” and just about to wrap up “The Trade” and “The Beautiful Lost” all which should be everywhere by this year alone all have Facebook fan pages so check em out like If you dig em share If you wish no pressure.
MW: What conventions do you have coming up?
JRD: I am in talks with a few conventions I actually recently booked a manager to help out with all that so see how that goes and soon as I have some confirmed dates I will share them.

MW: What would you like to say in closing?
JRD: n closing I’d like to say that this is my first year and you aint seen nothing yet haha..ttys be good and If you can’t be good be bad and get a good lawyer.
