As of today another victim of the floods in Flat Gap, KY was found. Scott Free has not been found/located at this time. If you would like to help the community of Flap Gap you can go here to find out how to help:

In the aftermath of the flood, officials are organizing donations at Johnson Central High School in Paintsville, KY.

Residents of the Johnson County floods, many of whom lost everything, are counting on you for help. The following is a list of drop off/pickup points for disaster relief supplies.

Johnson Central High School: High School Cafeteria 7-15. Contact 606.789.2500. A list of needed items is found on the Paintsville/Johnson County Emergency Management, or call the school.

Paintsville Church Of Christ: Disaster relief supplies are available until 7-17 from 8 AM to 8 PM each day. Call the church at 606.780.6219 for more information.

Highland Church of Christ: Relief supplies are available at the Rescue Mission, 805 Euclid Avenue in Paintsville each day from 8-6. Monetary and clothing donations only. 606.780.6433.

First Christian Chuch: Supplies are available and non perishable foods as well as clean/sorted clothing, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc. are accepted. 514 Main Street, Paintsville from 9-7 each day. 606.789.4880.

Encounter Missions: Relief supplies are available and clothing/toiletries donations are accepted. 509 Depot Road, Paintsville, from 9-7 each say. Call David Castle at 606.793 or Beth Castle at 606.367.8737. Also, Encounter’s Pharmaceutical Assistance Ministry is available to assist with lost medications. Please call the Encounter Missions office at 264.5934.

Scott is being called a hero and I believe Scott is a hero. He did not have to stop that day and help but he did. He is the kind of guy that would help anyone he could.
