Tattoo Model Of The Day – Dallas Valentine

Posted: 06/11/2013 in Model, Tattoo Model Of The Day

Interview Done By Mike Wilkerson

MW: Please introduce yourself?
DV: My names Dallas Valentine. I’m an internationally published pinup & alternative model with Bonerattle Talent.

MW: When did you get into modeling?
DV: A few years back, by fluke really. Being fairly heavily tattooed at a young age, and having quite a few friends in photography school, they always wanted me to be their model. I was at a burlesque class and a gal there was a model agent, and she approached me soon after. Went off from there!

MW: What kind of modeling do you do?
DV: I would say I enjoy doing pinup the most, but I also do alternative/fetish, runway, commercial and artistic.

MW: When did you get your first tattoo?
DV: I got my first tattoo when I was 17.

MW: Where on your body did you get it?
DV: Generic sparrows on my chest, which have now been re-done and incorporated with my chest piece.

MW: What made you decide to keep getting tattoos?
DV: I was an art major, and tattoos are just a different form of art for me. I find the more tattooed I become, the more I feel like myself, like this is how I’m supposed to be. Also there’s attachment, they all have great meaning to me. Some people write in journals or take photos to keep memories; I tattoo them on my body.

MW: How many do you have now?
DV: 50+ last time I took the time to count.

MW: Which one is your favorite?
DV: A not so well done cactus on my arm. I got it done with my best friend who I love dearly while in Arizona for her wedding. It has the greatest meaning for me.

MW: What are your plans for the future?
DV: My dream is to get into Inked Magazine, that’s a long work in progress. More publications, traveling, shows, just getting out there and doing what I love.

MW: What would you like to say in closing?
DV: “You’re a wild one, and I like that”
