MW: Please introduce yourself?
EN: Captain Elliott Neese, F/V Saga, as seen on Deadliest Catch

MW: You have said before since you were 2 years old you want to captain a crab boat. How were you introduced to crabbing?
EN: My dad was a crab fisherman. The first time I was on a crab boat was when I was 2 years old. I fell in love with crabbing and wanted to own a crab boat.

MW: When did you start out in crabbing?
EN: I started pot fishing when I was 16. Everyone else was partying over spring break and I went fishing instead.

MW: When you got to work the first time on a crab boat how was it?
EN: Amazing! I got paid full share within a day of being on the boat. I worked with a group of great guys. It was like living on cloud 9. It was the coolest thing ever.

MW: Had you been a part of Deadliest Catch on Discovery TV before you became the captain of the Ramblin’ Rose?
EN: Negative

MW: When you became captain of the Ramblin’ Rose did you think it was going to be so hard?
EN: It wasn’t hard at all. What you see on tv and reality are two different things.

MW: What would you have done different in season 8 of Deadliest Catch?
EN: I wouldn’t have let them film my family if I had known how they would show it.

MW: How did you feel about your family stuff being on TV?
EN: I would have felt better if they had told me the truth. They told me they were going to film fun stuff with my family. They filmed for 5 days, and only showed the bullshit. They didn’t show the fun family stuff we did.

MW: Tell me a story that was not shown on season 8?
EN: I can tell you about a story that was made up on Season 8. When they said my boat hit the ice with a guy asleep at the wheel. That never happened. I got woken up at least 300 yards from the ice and slowly drove the boat through it to get to St. Paul. And if you actually watch the footage, you can see the frame rate was changed to make it look like we were going fast.

MW: Do you feel that you were a misunderstood captain on season 8?
EN: Misunderstood? No. Mis-portrayed? Yes. I feel like if they would just show the truth, things would be great. It’s like playing a game with somebody who already knows the outcome. They just twist and turn everything the way they want. If I was such a bad guy to work for, why do I still have guys working for me that have been with me a couple years, and guys still calling me wanting jobs?

MW: How will things change for you in season 9?
EN: In Season 9, I own my own boat. I should be shown truthfully, and everything goes professionally and well on the boat.

MW: Will you have a whole new crew?
EN: No.

MW: What happened with you and the owner of the Ramblin’ Rose?
EN: I went into partnership with the owner of the Ramblin’ Rose to buy the F/V Saga.

MW: If you lived in a perfect world of crab fishing how would it be?
EN: I would sit on the beach in Mexico, and have somebody else driving my boat.

MW: What do you like to fish for more King or Opilio?
EN: Opies because when you get on them, you can really put a smack on them. You can put 200,000# of crab on the boat in 2 or 3 days. The lease fee on the opies quota is lower so you can make more money.

MW: What do yo do on your time off?
EN: I hang out with my beautiful girlfriend and my kids. I like to go to Mexico to visit family, go spear fishing with my dad. The nice thing about crabbing is when you’re off you have money to do what you want and all the free time in the world.

MW: What would you like to say in closing?
EN: To all the people who doubted me, I love to prove you wrong. There’s a new kid on the block who’s taking over this town, aka the Bering Sea.

I have told you all there was something up. I have known for months from insiders that this shit was going down. I like Scott and Chrissy a lot there good people I never ment no harm to them. You people took it that way. So now you all know how the business of shows work. Both of them will bounce back and be bigger then ever. Also furthermore Storage Hunters will suck with out both of them on the show. I am done watching it all together and so should you.

MW: Please introduce yourself?
PD: I am Paul Delis and I portray ‘Paul Stanley’ in GODS OF THUNDER – Tribute to KISS!!

MW: What made you decide to do a Kiss tribute?
PD: I didn’t actually decide, I wanted to be in a KISS Tribute band because I have always been a huge KISS fan and my first concert was KISS at the LA Forum in 1977 when they recorded KISS Alive II. Being in a KISS Tribute band is a ton of work, but it’s a passion and a TON MORE FUN than you could imagine.

MW: What is your favorite song to play live?
PD: MY favorite song is ‘Detroit Rock City’. I just get pumped up when I sing and play that song….and the crowd really loves it too.

MW: Give me a sample song list?

And that’s a short one. Our set usually lasts about 90mins with all the fire breathing, smoking guitar, blood, etc, but we have done 3 hour shows in the past.

MW: How many shows a year does Gods Of Thunder do?
PD: On average, we are doing about 12-14 not including private parties. Since the economy took the down turn, it’s been less. Here’s to hoping that changes.

MW: Where are some of the places you have played?
PD: We’ve been up and down the West Coast from Washington, Oregon, Northern Cal to Colorado, Vegas, Arizona & Mexico, not to mention the bulk of our gigs have been in the greater So Cal area.

MW: What has been your biggest crowd? And where?
PD: Our biggest crowd was at the Sugarpine Ranch Motorcycle Rally in Mancos, Colorado in 2010. There was around 4000 wild and crazy people at that one. We loved it and can’t wait to go back this summer.

MW: What can fans expect from Gods Of Thunder in 2013?
PD: The HOTTEST KISS Tribute show out there….PERIOD! We are going into our 10th year and we really want this year to be the BEST. We’ve invested alot of $$$ into new costumes and stage props for this year and can’t wait to get out there and BRING THE ROOF DOWN!!!

MW: Do you have stuff you sale at shows?
PD: At some shows we have Official GODS OF THUNDER T-shirts available. There are also spaghetti strap shirts for the ladies.

MW: Do you have a website where you sale stuff?
PD: We have a wesbite….http://www.gotkisstribute.com, but there is not a place on the wesbite where you can directly purchase the t’s. You can find out where we are performing and get the t’s there.

MW: Do any of the members of Gods Of Thunder have a original project?
PD: My ‘Ace Frehley is involved in an originals band called The Blessings.

PD: GODS OF THUNDER is from the tribute band capital of the world…..Los Angeles, CA.

MW: Give me a day in your life.
PD: Wednesday….It’s not Monday, but not quite Friday.

MW: Please introduce yourself
King Zombie: Hello everybody, I am King Zombie, frontman of the Devil’s Rejects.

MW: What made you decide to do a Rob Zombie tribute?
King Zombie: I love Rob Zombie as an artist and admire his different types of art. I’ve never seen a tribute band of him in my country, just one in the whole europe and it was more a cover than a tribute band. I wasn’t satisfied with this situation, so I decided to create a band who deserves to be called a “tribute”

MW: What is your favorite song to play live?
King Zombie: Maybe “What?”. I love all of his songs, but this one sounds better live than studio to me, so I love to play it and make everyone scream and dance, as a hell of a party.

MW: Give me a sample song list?
King Zombie: We play the same tracklist of Zombie himself, from the classics: Dragula, Superbeast, Living Dead Girl, to the new stuff.We usually play two or more songs from each album.

MW: How many shows a year does the Devil’s Rejects do?
King Zombie: The first tour we made included ten shows, from October to April. This time we’re touring with the Manson Elite (Marilyn Manson Tribute). We named the tour “The Twins of Evil” of course, and we’re playing more than the last year.

MW: Where are some of the places you have played?
King Zombie: We’ve been traveling through the whole country (especially north Italy) wich is a good thing I guess.

MW: What has been your biggest crowd? And where?
King Zombie: At Exenzia Club in Prato (Italy), on the Halloween night of course. That was an hell of a show and the crowd was amazing.

MW: What can fans expect from the Devil’s Rejects in 2013?
King Zombie: We’re working on adding some new songs from “Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor”, you’re surely going to listen to our version of “Dead City Radio and the New Gods of Supertown”

MW: Do you have stuff you sale at shows?
King Zombie: We only sale Jonh Rox albums and shirts. Jonh Rox is an original band, composed by the same members of the Devil’s Rejects.

MW: Do you have a website where you sale stuff?

King Zombie: Well, I do a lot of stuff. I have some channels on Youtube, I create masks and I am a filmaker too. So my days can be very different from each other.

MW: Please introduce yourself?
AF: My name is Alan Flyng and I am a singer/actor/costumier and designer.

MW: How would fans of the Star Wars universe know you?
AF: I am known for having been one of a select few to work as a Stormtrooper on the Carbon Chamber set of The Empire Strikes back and subsequently as the Deck Officer on the Executor during the Battle of Endor who tells Admiral Piett the bridge deflector shields are lost…

MW: How did you get the job to be Deck Officer in Star Wars:  Return of the Jedi & Stormtrooper in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back?
AF: The Stormtrooper gig was a straightforward call from the agent to go and be fitted for ‘some’ work, which turned into 7 weeks, whereas the Imperial Officer was by chance. Another actor proved to be unable to do the part and I was passing at the right time and in the right place…

MW: What did you think when you got the job?
AF: The Stormtrooper work I thought would be a matter of a day or two and, as I was helmeted, I was happy to go along with it. As it drew on longer and longer, I came to dislike the armor intensely, as the set was a closed stage with real steam venting underfoot and the whole thing was lit with football-type arc lights. It was as near to hell in that costume as I ever came until I shot in the desert in Jordan outside Petra on another film, where Lawrence of Arabia had been shot.

MW: How was it working with so many people?
AF: I am pretty much a friendly sort and it was well organized, so it was no problem.

MW: How much did you get to work with George Lucas?
AF: I only worked with him when he was directing 2nd Unit action or stunt shots.

MW: How was he to work with?
AF: He was quiet – almost too shy – and let the 1st Assistant Director do most of the directing, not having a lot to say about anything.

MW: Have you collected any of the action figures made of you?
AF: All that I get I sign for fans or for charity.

MW: Were you able to keep anything from the set of Star Wars?
AF: No. Everything was watched over and signed in and out – even my page of the script containing my line!!!

MW: What do you think of Disney now owning the Star Wars franchise?
AF: It is a chance for the whole deal to become either ‘a new hope’ for the fans and future generations or it could fall flat. I don’t think that will happen, as the chosen director has already proven himself somewhat of a fanboy, which bodes well! Also, I think Disney, although they have been very controlling in the past, are not about to flush their investment capital down the pan!

MW: What conventions will you be at in the near future?
AF: This coming fortnight I will be in Canada attending LONDON ROGUES SCI-FI/FANTASY 7 (http://www.londonrogues.ca/) the 11th and 12th May, a store signing in Niagara at Pulp Comics on the 16th followed by another small con in Welland on the 18th. MW: How can fans reach you for autographs?

MW: What would you like to say in closing?
AF: I am immensely grateful for all the kindness I encounter in my dealings with the world of fandom and look forward to more years of it as the franchise widens ever wider and more diversely.

MW: Please introduce yourself.
ZL: My name is Zack Larson and I work on the fishing vessel Cape Caution which also happens to be captained by my dad, Wild Bill, and is featured on Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch.

MW: Did you know from an early age you wanted to be a crabber?
ZL: No, growing up I never thought about fishing as a career. Even into my early twenties, I still hadn’t given it a thought.

MW: What did you think when your dad said “come out with me crabbing”?
ZL: He didn’t give me much time to think about it. I believe I had to quit my job in 10 days to catch the flight to Alaska. I figured it gave me a chance to really know my dad and test myself as a man in a harsh and dangerous world.

MW: What do you remember about that first day?
ZL: That it seemed to never end. Crabbing isn’t a nine to five kind of job. Our workdays can last over 50 hours. And normally we work easily 20-hour days. I was already used to working 10- to 12-hour days at my previous job. But nothing can prepare you for working on a crab boat.

MW: Tell me about starting out as a greenhorn.
ZL: Starting out as a greenhorn was extremely difficult for me. I wasn’t used to getting yelled at and made fun of all the time. I had next to zero fishing background and I was also the captain’s son. Life wasn’t easy for me and it took getting used to. I was used to working with people that had degrees or went to technical college for training. There isn’t a school that trains you to be a crabber. The deckhands are your teachers, and sometimes the teachers get tired of you. I was lucky to have some great deckhands and my dad on board.

MW: How was it being on the F/V Kodiak with your dad Wild Bill?
ZL: When we are fishing I don’t get to spend a lot of time with my dad. He is in the wheelhouse and I’m running around on deck. The time that we get to spend together is priceless. Normally when we are going back to port or have long distances between our string of pots we can chat. Nothing crazy, normal father-son talk. About life, women, money and cars. It is something that I didn’t have growing up, and I think my dad also didn’t have these talks with his dad. The conversation may seem bland, but they mean a lot to both of us.

MW: Was there ever a time you said F–K this I am going home?
ZL: About every fishing trip. The long hours and sometimes terrible fishing eats away at you. When fishing is great, you’re not thinking about being home and loved ones. When fishing is terrible, everything that is sore starts to bother you, everything anybody says annoys the hell out of you, and you start to question your career choice.

MW: Do you think it would have been easier for you to work for another captain in the fleet?
ZL: Sometimes I do think that, but I know I still can learn a lot from my dad. My next move is down into the engine room and that is where my dad is an expert. I believe my dad has a few more years left in him, and I need to take every opportunity I can to learn from him. Then I will be able to work for another captain and not look like a jackass.

MW: How has it been since your dad Wild Bill is now captain on the F/V Cape Caution?
ZL: The Cape Caution is a really great boat. It hasn’t fished crab in a long time and we have been getting her back into shape. The best part of that boat is the owner. He wants to see that boat be profitable and is investing a lot of money back into the boat. My dad is the perfect guy for that boat. He can see a problem and know how to fix it or get the right people down to the boat to fix it.

MW: Do you want to be a captain like your father Wild Bill one day?
ZL: I think that should be every deckhand’s vision for himself. I want to run a boat. Am I close to being ready? Hell NO! I have so much to learn and hopefully when the time is ready, I can step up and deliver.

MW: What can we expect this season from you?
ZL: Well I can’t reveal a whole lot, but I would say I continue my rise up the deck and possibly a little tension between my dad and myself at some point.

MW: What do you on your time off?
ZL: I’m like most men, with a cold beer and friends. I am normally in Mexico in the same town as my dad. We golf together on Mondays and enjoy the sunny weather. Not a lot of sun going on in Alaska.

MW: What would you like to say in closing?

MW: Please introduce yourself?
HF: Heather “Rockstar” Furr.

MW: How did you get involved with the LFL?
HF: I tried out back in the summer of 2010. I found out about tryouts through a friend and was convinced to go. Beyond that, I had no previous football experience other than playing football with the boys at recess or throwing the ball around with my dad.

MW: What made you want to play in the LFL?
HF: Honestly, I really didn’t know what to expect heading into tryouts themselves and wasn’t sure if this was really for me. When I got to the tryouts and found out how REAL this football was, and how seriously it was taken, I knew this was the perfect fit.

MW: What other team have you played for? And how was it?
HF: I have played for the West All-Fantasy team and also the Saskatoon Sirens up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Both were amazing experiences.

MW: Why did the LFL change from the Lingerie Football League to Legends Football League?
HF: The league changed its’ name to be more marketable overall. It’s the same football and very similar uniforms, it was simply to taken away the ‘Lingerie’ aspect of the name.

MW: How many teams are in the league?
HF: There are 12 total teams in the US, 4 in Canada, and 4 in Australia.

MW: What are their names?
HF: Well, if you go to http://www.lflus.com you can get all 12 teams.

MW: What do you think of the Canada and Australia expansion?
HF: I love the idea of the LFL expanding to other countries. It’s such an amazing league and to extend the opportunity to play 7-on-7 tackle football to other athletes worldwide is such a great thing.

MW: Would you ever want to play for teams in those leagues?
HF: I love playing in the US and have always lived

MW: How many games will you play?
HF: In the regular season there are 4 total games, 2 possible playoff games, and the Championship game, newly named the Legends CUP.

MW: Where are LFL games played?
HF: The Chicago Bliss games are played this year at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, IL.

MW: What else do you do?
