(Scream Queen) Interview With Actress Michelle Tomlinson aka Mighty McT

MW: Please introduce yourself?

MT: Michelle Tomlinson aka Mighty McT

MW: What makes you a Scream Queen?

MT: Good question!  It’s a ”title” that gets passed on to girls in the Horror Industry.  I am in incredibly good comapny, though, with other girls like Brooke Lewis and Kimberly Amato bearing the same title.   Not to mention we can all scream loud enough to possibly deafen the poor Production Sound peeps.

MW: What role in a film are you best known for?

MT: Probably RUDY from THE CELLAR DOOR.  That film garnered attention first then BRAIN DEAD (Directed by Horror Icon Kevin Tenney) when I played CLAUDIA BUSH.

MW: What films have you been in?

MT: I’ve done Comedy, Drama and Horror Films.  In the world of Horror: THE CELLAR DOOR, BRAIN DEAD, GEORGE: A ZOMBIE INTERVENTION, ITCH, MY UNDEADLY, MIS-ADVENTURES of McT & A….

MW: What film or films are you doing for the end of 2011-2012?

MT: Sequel to THE CELLAR DOOR, the Feature Length Version of ITCH, THE LOATHING, MANSON RISING and DAHMER VS GACY IN SPACE.  All in the juicy Horror Realm from Psychological Thrillers to Bio Pic to a twisted Vampire flick.

MW: What other things have you done?

MT: I’ve of course done several Short Films, (almost got shot by the LAPD when shooting one… It was pretty funny.) Webisodes and Television.  I’ve also started Producing and have a few Features in different stages of Development and Pre Production.

MW: Tell me about a day in your life?

MT: There is no “typical day,” so to speak.  I am constantly in motion.  Like the other day, for example, I spent the morning prepping EPK’s that I printed out for a gigantic meeting I had with a gentleman.  On my way to the meeting, some woman rolled into me in traffic going about 5mph. Went to the meeting, it was amazing, got a parking ticket–coached a couple of my students (I am also an Acting Coach) and went to Yoga at the Yoga Shelter here in Studio City.  Or this Tuesday, I have a couple of students and then do a signing for GEORGE: A ZOMBIE INTERVENTION at Dark Delicacies that night.  Or I’m going to screenings.
One of the things I love about this industry is there are no typical days or boring days.  Every day is different and somewhere in there, the day is going to kick some ass and be a good one.  Even through getting a parking ticket.  Everything is worth the journey and I enjoy the journey.

MW: What has been your favorite film to do? And why?

MT: As lame as it sounds, I don’t have a favorite film I’ve been in.  Any day I’m on set is a good day.

MW: What actors or actress have been your favorite to work with? And why?

MT: I don’t have favorites, per say, but I had a really great time working with Peter Stickles in GEORGE: A ZOMBIE INTERVENTION as well as James DuMont in THE CELLAR DOOR.  Both those boys knew their dialogue, characters, scripts and were just all around fantastic.  But honestly, I have not worked with another Actor that I felt I wouldn’t work with again if the opportunity presented itself.

MW: What convention appearances do you have booked for the rest of 2011-2012?

MT: Next up is MONSTER MASH in December!

MW: What is the best thing about being a Scream Queen?

MT: I’ve met some of the most fantastic humans in the Horror Industry I would never have met otherwise.

MW: If you could star in a movie or remake of a movie what would it be? And why?

MT: Right now I’m pretty stoked on the script for the Cellar Door Sequel… So definitely that!  As far as remake, I can’t imagine rocking it out better than the original cast–I’d LOVE to be Clarice from Silence of the Lambs, but no way in hell could I touch what Jodie Foster did with her!

MW: What would you like to say in closing?

MT: Life kicks ass and I’m thrilled to be on the ride!

(Scream Queen) Interview With Actress Lilith Stabs

MW: Please introduce yourself?

LS:  I’m Lilith Stabs actress/model, bunny wrangler/whisper (depends on the bunny). Sometime writer/photographer/artist/perfume maker, I do some music stuff but I’m not claiming to be a musician. I also do some art but don’t claim to be an artist. I do alot of stuff!

MW: What makes you a Scream Queen?

LS: Well, there is always something going on in my life to scream about! Other than that I suppose being an actress in more than a few b-movies can pretty much earn you that title.

MW: What role in a film are you best known for?

LS: The ones most mentioned to me from fans are Vampire Callgirls, Bad Movie Police, Severe Injury and Malefic. So I’d say those are the ones I’m best known for.

MW: What films have you been in?

LS: Vampire Callgirls, Demonatrix, Cremains, Malefic, Zombiegeddon, Deadly Stingers, Severe Injury, The Bad Movie Police 1-3 series, Demon Divas,  etc. a whole bunch of other short roles and cameos.

MW: What film or films are you doing for the end of 2011-2012?

LS:  Not sure about films for the end of 2011. But I’ve got a new music project I’m working on with my husband. It is a hard driving horror rock thing called “The Dead Hourse Saloon Band” featuring Lilith Stabs. It will be released one song at a time on itunes and amazon. And I’ve got a few writing projects that are in need of finishing up. I’m starting back to work on my autobiography, and I have another children’s book I want to get finished.

MW: What other things have you done?

LS: Other stuff photography, modeling, writing, painting, perfume making and of course last and never least all the bunny rabbit stuff. If I had the space and money available I’d have a rabbit rescue….someday. I’ve been mixing my own perfumes and selling them, I’ve also made a few amusing over the top perfume commericals to promote them. I’ve been doing more art work as of late I have a series of bunny pop art paintings and also a series of bloody art as well. I have this odd combo of Easter and Halloween it my life it seems.
I did a childrens ebook called “The Little Bunny Body Book”. Its to teach small children how to take care of their pets.

MW: Tell me about a day in your life?

LS: I start the day with coffee and quick email check, than its on the showering and primping for a bit,.  I can’t forget to feed the bunnies they are so demanding! than after that they allow me to have something to eat. By than it is late afternoon so I usually go out for awhile and do what I call running errands (that could be pretty much anything that I have to do from going shopping to picking up mail to going to the art supply, sort of normal stuff). Than I usually go for more coffee to get perked up for the rest of the day. Than I usually get online for a bit and take care of business. I get dinner. Than in the evening is when I do most of my creativity type of things: writing, photos and editing, music stuff, painting, etc.  Than I like to play with the bunnies for awhile. Than of couse I like to play with the husbunny as well. Watch something enjoyable mostly old horror flicks, Dark Shadows or some other movie of choice. Feed the bunnies again! And go get some sleep, usually around 3am.

MW: What has been your favorite film to do? And why?

LS: hmmm…I always try to think on this one, there were alot of fun ones but I think I’d have to say my fav probably has not been made yet.

MW: What actors or actress have been your favorite to work with? And why?

LS: Some favs over the years have been Amy Lynn Best, Robyn Griggs and Jeff Dylan Graham.

MW: What convention appearances do you have booked for the rest of 2011-2012?

LS: The Monsterbash in Indiana in Dec.  I used to do a ton of these shows but since moving so much over the past several years I’ve cut back on my other travels. But I’m looking forward to getting back to booking more of these in 2012.

MW: What is the best thing about being a Scream Queen?

LS: I love the horror genre. There are two sides to the roles you can play there is victim roles and next time around you play the killer. The conventions can be alot of fun. And the fans a very loyal.

MW: If you could star in a movie or remake of a movie what would it be? And why?

LS: I’d love to star in a remake of the 1960 horror movie Tormented, I’d play the dead ex girlfriend ghost (of course the one who is doing the tormenting).

MW: What would you like to say in closing?

LS: Stay tuned for the music stuff that is upcomming I’m very pleased with how it is shaping up and think alot of people will enjoy it.
