MW: Please introduce yourself?
K: My name is Kalyn, the MC/producer/wheelchair in Wheelchair Sports Camp.
MW: How did you get the chance to play SXSW 2012?
K: We snuck onto a showcase in 2011 through Sonicbids, and had a surprisingly successful trip, which led to us becoming close with the SXSW community and we were invited back.
MW: Have you ever played SXSW before?
K: Yes 2011 was our first time, and first time playing out of state as a band in general.
MW: Where is Wheelchair Sports Camp from?
K: Denver, CO

K: The music scene is all over the place. There isn’t one defining sound that come out of Denver, but I’m proud to say we some of the best people working in every genre across the board.
MW: Do you have a new release coming out?
K: We are planning to release an EP by the time of SXSW.
MW: Do you plan to tour on your way to SXSW?
K: Yes. We will either tour out there or on the way home
MW: What are you hoping for coming out of SXSW?
K: We are hoping to have as good of a time as we did last year, which shouldn’t be hard to do!
MW: What would you like to say in closing?
K: We are soooo very excited to get back to SXSW. It was a life changing experience for all of us, and I’ll look forward to it every spring to come!
